Warming Winter Comfort Food with Chef Dawn Bruckner of La Belle Aurore

We are thrilled to add Chef Dawn Bruckner to our instructor list.  Dawn is the chef owner of La Belle Aurore in Niantic.  This cozy farm-to-table restaurant embodies all that we love- great food and a connection with local farms.  Have you ever had a meal that you think about often?  I had such a meal at Dawn's restaurant a few years ago... it was a flounder with a ginger cream sauce- absolutely amazing.  I had never thought about a ginger cream sauce before.... but I loved it.  I reached out to her to see if she was interested in teaching with us.... she was!  

For this class Dawn will teach us how to make a classic gnocchi with fresh ricotta cheese (easier than you would think) and a hearty roasted vegetable and lamb bolognese.  We will also start with a great winter salad and end with decadently wonderful brownies- because who can resist a homemade brownie?  


  • Kale, brussels sprout, apple & pomegranate salad
  • Gnocchi with homemade ricotta and hearty roasted vegetable and Sankow Beaverbrook Farm lamb.  
  • Best ever decadent brownies with vanilla ice cream.
